Do you accept insurance?

Beyond Nourished is not currently in-network with insurance providers. A Superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. To see if you are eligible for reimbursement, please contact your insurance company.

Do you see clients virtually or in-person?

Appointments are offered virtually through a HIPAA-compliant platform for those living in Connecticut and New York.

How often do we meet and work together for?

Appointments are highly individualized however meeting  on a weekly basis is typically recommended. Weekly appointments help establish rapport, create the foundation of our work together, and provide consistent support.

Recovery is a non-linear process that looks different for each individual. Support will be offered for as long as you need in your journey.

Can I work with you if I don't have a diagnosed Eating Disorder?

Definitely! Through a weight-inclusive and non-diet approach, you can receive support for a variety of health-related conditions.

Do you make or use meal plans?

Yes, meal plans or structured eating can be a very useful tool depending upon where one is in their recovery. If you are stepping down from a treatment center with a meal plan, you will be provided the option to continue using that structure for consistency.

During our time together, we will explore how to take steps towards more flexible eating as you learn to respond to your body's hunger and satiety cues.

Do you help with weight loss?

As a weight inclusive dietitian, intentional weight loss will not be supported. Intentional weight loss can lead to negative side effects, and promote the development of eating disorders.

Together we will work through your lived experiences and how they have shaped your relationship with your body. We will explore how to integrate health promoting habits that will support your mind, body and soul long-term.
